Re: Cabela's potential sale to Bass Pro

^^^^^ Only if the shelf space isn't already occupied by Soccer Mom clothes or the standard bro suit black Northface coat with the logo on the shoulder. That's the official dress code for parents at elementary school functions here in Chanhassen. I went to Dick's sporting goods tonight, saw a guy tr...

Re: Cabela's potential sale to Bass Pro

It makes me miss the old Gander Mountain stores when they were more of an outfitter and not a retailer. That strategic change came in the late 90's. If I had to compare them to a competitor, I always feel like I'm shopping at Dick's. But can't say I've stepped into a Gander in 2, if not 3, years. M...

Re: Would You Be Willing To Participate In This Type Of Group?

The expectations of most Minnesota waterfowl hunters is so piss poor bizarre, Laughable if you think anything is going to change the minds of probably one of the dumbest waterfowl hunting states and cultures in the country. Not just their expectations, but their understanding of waterfowl and water...

Re: Trailer Lighting

I bought some of the supposed "Asian Junk" as Fowler so ellogantly put it, it was $90 compared to the superior US made pefection that cost around the $300. Mine has been on my boat for 4 years and it's worked everytime I flipped the switch. I would gamble if it saves you hundreds like it d...

Re: Ducks!

Saw more ducks in my metro passshooting hole than the other day. More mallards, still some woodducks. Was looking the wrong way on my 2 good chances, tested my skills on some tall ones- failed.

Re: Ducks!

Pass shot 3 wood ducks and a greenwing from shore yesterday before work in the general area of the metro. That was thanks to good shooting, not lots of ducks. Only saw 20 or so ducks all morning.
