Re: Anyone Try Kansas or Nebraska for Waterfowl Hunting?

i lived in east central KS for 5 years. I was SW of ottawa KS in Franklin county. Was KS good? some years yes, other years not so much. My main AO's were Flint hills NWR , Melvern Reservoir, and local farm ponds that i had permission to hunt . All had their moments depending on water levels and bird...

Re: Tony Toye sentence handed down

Hopefully the D-bag and his associates will never come back to pool 9. Hunted Southern pool 9 from 1980-2003. Haven't been south of 82 (WI waters) since. His kind have turned the place into a zoo. Back in the day it was a paradise growing up. On any given day in the marsh to open water areas you'd h...

sept boundary waters canoe trip

? for those that have some experience with boundary water canoe trips. I'm doing a 5 day trip early September.
if you had to bring only a few baits in a tiny tackle box what would you carry? most lake intel shows ok populations of smb/NP/Eyes. no lakers.

Re: Your Thoughts on 2015 Duck Season...

I'd say also it is the worst in my recent memory and I've been hunting ducks on the miss river since 1980. since the second opener i killed 3 drake mallards (i'd say i usually average 25 by looking back at my logs). I mostly hunt backwaters but i had very few birds to work with and mostly had low wa...

Re: Best Wood Duck Decoy

I have 6 G&H woodies. IMO they are the most durable on the market. paint will still be on these long after im gone. are they the most realistic. no way. BUt they work well for me in the backwaters, bottoms, and flooded timber of the miss. they are kinda pricey but have lasted many years. Ive kil...

Re: Cranes
