Re: Coronavirus

^^^^^ This has been proven false. “In comparison to SARS (severe acute respiratory syndrome) and MERS (Middle East respiratory syndrome) coronaviruses, which were both identified in the past 20 years, COVID-19 is likely more highly transmissible but not as deadly, the researchers noted.” Source: htt...

Re: Coronavirus

I hope I am wrong too. Current mortality rate for homegrown cases is 30%. We also don’t have the ability to scale a response like China does. One fact missing from the 80% figure is the other 20%. Of those, 5% require artificial respiration, and the other 15% require concentrated oxygen. We do not h...

Re: Coronavirus

Things are just getting started. I hope I’m wrong, but I believe it’s on and we are in for a full blown pandemic here in the US (and worldwide). Take a look at health journals in other parts of the world and see what they have to say...it’s not going away anytime soon. Two months from now, my predic...

Re: MN among states with highest rates of melanoma

Admittedly just skimmed it, but funny to me that even an article related to health won’t state the obvious that the states with the highest incidence of melanoma cases coincide almost exactly with the states with the whitest whiteboys. “It’s cause the people love the outdoors.” It’s amazing to me th...

Re: Red lake ?

There was a time long ago that I worked as a bouncer, first in Cloud, then in downtown Minneapolis, then in Alexandria, that I basically got paid $100 a night to fight people. I literally can’t even count the amount of physical altercations I was in over that 3 or so year span. Cloud and Alex were m...

Re: What Was Your Best Outdoor Experience Of 2019?

Best outdoor experience this year was having my first true “deer camp” weekend with my inlaws and their extended family. I’ve only ever hunted relatives’ land or my parent’s land near our cabin and having a large group to share everything with was so much more fun. I ended up not shooting a deer tha...
