Re: Anyone Gearing Up for Snows?

purely speculation based on my hunt at the beginning of the month and the forecast for next week but I think you will be looking for a very elusive needle in a haystack in SE ND next weekend...we killed plenty of juvies and ross last weekend in that area

Re: Anyone Gearing Up for Snows?

A bit late in the world of spring snows...but we hunted dickey and lamoure counties mar 29-apr 3. THe first couple days bird numbers were perfect-we could find 3-4 groups of 5-15k birds and choose the best situation to hunt. Later in the week there was a big reverse migration and suddenly there were...

Re: Anyone following the state HS boy's Hockey playoffs?

It was a shame to see Eden Prairie lose. The last thing anyone wanted was a bunch of rich kids from Wayzata winning. Two five minute power plays and the idiots ended up even on them, that's a kick to the balls. Hopefully Mitlestad doesn't leave for any of the worthless developmental programs. it's ...

Re: This sure beats a year ago....

This weather is terrible! I was planning on ice fishing tomorrow but it was 35 degrees out today and there was only 7" to 8" of ice out there last weekend. So much snow already melted that there's tiny patches of brown grass in my yard for pete's sake! Maybe in my younger days I'd be fool...

agree with Hanson. along with great hunts with great buddies. My 10 year old lab keeps on enjoying to hunt hard...he's just a little more stiff at the end of trip. and sometimes he passes out in motels and exposes his greasy sack to the world. http://i234.photobucket.com/albums/ee246/bucky_goldstein...

Re: 2014 Snow Goose Reports

I'd go right back to the 2k feed

If they're going more than 1/4 mile from their roost it could be perfect

Don't waste your time and gas money scouting in the middle of the day this time of year

Re: MN Fowl Free Lance Spring Hunt

i just spent 6 days in SD...toughest spring trip we've had in a long time due to a bunch of variables...but we all know the most dominant variable is the white devil itself

anyways I wish I could go back but I can't...if I could go I would without a doubt be heading to northern SD
