Re: 1 1/4 vs 1 1/8?

I agree. I am not shooting them just saw them at the store and wondered how they could advertise that without throwing red flags in peoples brains. I would like to test those and see what real speed is as well as pattern test them but not at 24 a box.

Yeah he dropped the first two in four shots. Then he went on bad streak. He was pretty disappointed in himself after that. With a little encouraging he got back in to the swing at the end. I think he recovered nicely. I was just being truthful. Next time I will lie to make my 14 year old son look be...

Re: Sunrise through thick fog welcomes young hunters

Thanks Nershi. Just a Dad trying to create smiles. Hopefully it inspires others to take their sons, daughters or neighborhood kids out. It doesn't have to be youth day to make a kids day. Anytime you can get a kid off of his phone or video game system and outside in nature is a win in my book!

Re: Tall trees

I get your point. I have never been that great of a shot. I try not to take any shots over 40 yds. I like to kill and not wound birds. I agree it is in the shooters ability. My Dad had a great ability to shoot ducks at longer distances and I did not mind him taking those shots at all. I refuse to ta...

Re: Sunrise through thick fog welcomes young hunters

Well good to hear there were 4999 others out there bringing in the new generation of hunters. My son ripped through 2 boxes of shells and managed a limit. Lost one Mallard which I made sure we included in the bag limit. I think too many hunters go on shooting after they have lost wounded birds. Tryi...
