Does MN allow diversion of water from rivers onto fields ?

Seems like the DNR would not allow this.

Keep pumping a million here and a million there into Christina and other waterfowl LAKES - usually works for say 2-3 years falls of off and then needs another million.

If Moist Soil Management idea failed - blame those that went in and made the pitch too.

DA has to hunt there. Remember when we parked his pickup camper on or near a WMA which was against the DNR overnight parking regs ? With tail between legs he goes back to the dead hole. His kids are older now and off on their own. Why would they return to hunt where no ducks fly ? They are more like...

Can't leave decoys out unattended, can't camp or park overnight on a DNR GMA, can't build a permanent deer stand.... but I can set large, unattended body gripping traps ?

Private land ... trappers get written permission or operate on their own land. I like that part too....

Well written this time. DNR and Governor are supporting. About time.

If passed into law, the rules and regs will be similar to Wisconsin. They kill plenty of fur there.

It appears he is playing this Sunday.

He will finish out this season with MN, but next year maybe not.

I enjoy the Vikes and the noon - three slot works great for a Sunday break between a morning waterfowl hunt and an afternoon on pheasants.
