You are 100% correct, Would the liberal left been in support of business owners protecting there property with guns and open fire? I think not.

Re: Fergus Falls

I am lucky to have grown up in a good goose hunting area and still have access to some great spots without paying for them. I am sure sooner or late that will end. Its like that anywhere you go! It makes it hard to bring in youth hunters when you get turned down time and again on land. Its pretty mu...

Re: Fergus Falls

That is exactly my point! Around my area where I primarily hunt its getting to the point either lease a field or you better know the farmer well to get on the land. So $200.00 is cheap. Fields are being leased by a outfitter for $3500.00 to $5k a year now.

Re: Post a picture you took in the last week.

I thought all birds were gone from MN in November? We had more mallards in our field the last few days of goose hunting in December then we had in November.

Re: Ice Conditions & Ice Fishing

Had to help with a truck recovery over the weekend, buddy of mine dropped his truck in not far from shore. He got lucky we were able to get it out with a winch tied to a tree. Lots of people driving out already with big wheel houses on maybe 11 inches of ice. Like the old saying goes can't fix stupid.

Re: Fergus Falls

Is there a guarantee in waterfowl? Just because a guy scouts a certain spot don't mean the next day you will kill your limit. As far as the $200.00 a day goes, when i figure out what i have in time and gear i just don't think its a bad price. Its only money can't take it with ya.

Re: Fergus Falls

Fergus Falls has a ton guides. Its all about location up there with the amount of birds they get every year. If you lease out a spot in a flight path its pretty easy to kill birds. Hunted up there a couple days this year out of pits. It makes for a fun day staying warm and being able to make breakfa...

Re: Migration

Hunted ducks and geese over the Thanksgiving weekend overall it was tough hunting. Very unpredictable feeding patterns with the up and down temperatures. Duck season was the worst season for me personally. Goose hunting has been decent. Still tons of geese in central MN and with the warm temps. and ...

Re: Vaccines

I just got the J & J vaccine last week. The only reason I got the vaccine is more then likely if the Canadian border would possibly open up this fall you will have to have gotten a vaccine. I really don't care if you get it or not!
