Made a few quick weekend trips to ND for early season so far. Hunting has been ok. A lot less wheat being planted in the area we typical hunt has made the birds really congregated. But been better then MN would have been.

Been shooting 2 3/4 # 5 Boss all early season goose out of a SB2 with a factory full lead choke no problems killing birds. Late season I will run #4 Boss. Could be killing them with normal 4 shot steel but not that big of a price difference. Just buy yourself some #5 shot Boss and shoot both.

Tried to hunt a public spot for teal got beat to that particular spot, so ended up going goose hunting ended the day with a 0. Sunday got 6 geese. No trips planned as of yet, would like to go back up to Canada again but problably not this year again.

All the years we went up to Canada we always brought our birds to the local food bank. I wonder if they will take birds this year.
