Re: Election

Last two posts are spot on. How else do you explain electing a candidate, the leader of the free world, literally the most poweful position in the world...., that very likely has onset dementia in some form. I only know a handful of people (at least that broadcast it) that voted blue but all of them...

Re: Election

Biden's not winning as much as Trump is losing. Whatever good he's done is overshadowed by how many people are sick of his sh!t. If he could have just STFU and stayed off twitter he'd be in for a 2nd term..... Statement of the year right here. DJT admirably got alot done in his 4 yrs..... if he wou...

Re: Debate

It was embarrassing from both sides. In January I was thinking there is no possible way DJT could lose this coming election. Economy was cranking, everyone was happy and all but the extreme left was content with the job he had done (even if you disagreed with his nonsense on twitter). But since Cvd1...

Podcasts

Haven't listened to convventiional radio in a long time. These types of queries are common on big game forums but haven't seen one like this on here. Waterfowl podcasts are typically full of total tools and egos.... that said, Phil Kahnke (MN Native) fired back up his Shooting Time podcasts with new...

Re: Post a picture you took in the last week.

X's 2 on the smallmouth. I have fished them alot catch and release, and just assumed they were similar to large mouth. 4 or 5 years ago I hooked a 19" super deep and was going to die. Fillet'd and ate. It was the best Minnesota fish I've ever consumed. Never tried any out of warm water but rive...

Re: Fishing Opener

Are you guys under the impression that dispersed camping on public land, where normally allowed, is now prohibited? as of last weekend dispersed camping on state forest land was closed. Guessing usfs followed suit..... called about possibly disperse camping on SF for helping a buddy fill a turkey t...

Re: Clothing ?

Kings camo is about as offbrand/affordable as you can get w/ taped seams, light weight etc...... the sitk/clothinga craze is almost laughable when it comes to big game clothing. Patagonia, MtnHardware, Arcteryx, Montbell have been doing what the trendy hunting companies are for much longer and usual...

Re: Statewide Rifle deer hunting

^^^^ This would be my main defense with allowing centerfire straightwalled calibers. Asking a 10year old to shooting a 300gr slug is setting him/her up for correcting issues down the road. You're right......Ballistically 350L, 450BM, 45-70, Slugs, ML all are going to be an effective option inside of...

Re: Statewide Rifle deer hunting

Lots of other states that were historically shotgun only have gone to straightwalled rifle cartridges. Innovation like 450BM and 350Legend have blurred the lines between conventional straightwall design and standard centerfire. Truth be told I'm not sure that allowing centerfire is any more or less ...

Re: Virginia lead free ban

Pretty sure the response they're hoping for is disarming and criminalizing law abiding citizens for owning black guns with the stroke of a pen here shortly...
