Re: a letter of intent

We can talk about divvying up the $7/mo that comes in

You know what's really twisted? Outdoor hub (who I've contracted to run ads through) is now owned by vertical scope (the conglomerate that purchased MWF). It's all coming full circle haha.

Re: Texas Church Shooting

It has definitely made me reconsider my 'leave it at home more than not' habit. Carrying can be a pain in the ass and takes a lot of time & effort to be proficient with. If it is not something you practice and develop good habits, it will be a far bigger liability than an asset on many levels. W...

Is this some kind of joke?

Apparently ya'll are going to get me locked up for your general lack of empathy towards feral cats. Congrats on whatever thread hit the top pages of google that provoked this message to the inbox  Please correct the information posted on your forum or delete the misinformation. Feral cats are i...

Re: Compartive Spending....Waterfowl Hunting vs Other Sports

I haven't spent anything more than a bit of gas & licensing fees to waterfowl hunt in the last 5 years. Still working through a few flats of shotshells that I purchased a long time ago. Even if I was refreshing waterfowl gear every season, it's still a drop in the bucket when I compare it to the...

Re: Why Wear Bands in the Blind?

Been so disorganized between moves, projects, changes in hobbies and I have so few that if they weren't on my call lanyard, I'd lose them. That aside, I keep them on for the memories of the hunt. I remember each one vividly and some included people that are no longer with us. My hunts are also more ...

Congrats on the truck! It'll treat you well.

The inverter is a bonus, it's really nice having 400w available & I've used it quite a few times now.

Have you toggled it into sport mode yet? Manual is a lot of fun too if you get the itch :D

Re: Mass Shootings......Solutions?

Enact laws that forbid the media from running rampant with speculation, agenda or fear mongering. Not to take away from the gravity of the tragedies that occur, but we'd be much better off if they weren't put in the national spotlight with uneducated talking heads driving the narrative. Good article...

Re: Eco Boost owners, F-150?

I lucked out when shopping used and found a crew cab with 6.5 box. It's terrible for for parking ramps, but that's about it. Your other points are spot on, in the last two crew cabs I had the 5.5' box and found myself irritated any time a task like that came up - biggest complaint not being able to ...

Re: Eco Boost owners, F-150?

Turning over 65k on my 2015 3.5 eco. It's sporty, and the 12,5 towing capacity is no joke. I have a buddy with 5.0 in the same year and it's night and day difference. I'm heavy on the pedal, 75-82mph interstate and still see 19mpg. I was seeing 22mpg pretty consistently when I drove like a putz thou...
