Re: Post a picture you took in the last week.

when we troll we use down riggers and typically only troll 2 rods, unless i have someone else on the boat who knows how to stack another on the down rigger. Typically though if you are into fish, its not worth the hassle to try and run more then 2 (atleast for me). Depths will vary, but typically we...

Re: Post a picture you took in the last week.

was going to ask if those were cohos, then saw text below the picture. You guys just troll for them? We typically troll but if we find a big school we will mooch for them (jig) and it can be a blast especially when you only drop it down 3 or 4 feet and see a pile of them come out of the depths and h...

Re: RE: Re: 10mm

I used to shoot a lot. Now i shoot very little. My first 50 rounds every time would always be from holster. Sometimes I would work on accuracy at range, but I really feel like drawing and getting on target at 10 yards will be more useful than being able to hit a pop bottle at 20 yards while taking ...

Re: RE: Re: 10mm

I've had several buddies going into brown bear country buy them, many of whom promptly sold them after. One is a die hard glock nut (combat vet & pistol guru) and hunts with it often. He's shot his fair share of game with it. It's a security blanket for 99% of brownbear-phob's. Nobody pract...

Re: RE: Re: Post a picture you took in the last week.

Bear tastes good. I never understood why people shoot them for just the rug and/or skull. I don’t see the point in hunting them if that’s the sole purpose. Shooting yogi over a donut pile or tree’d from dogs then leaving all the meat seems like such a waste to me. Agreed. I will never hunt a bait p...
