I would be interested in a group hunt. Looking at the weather, I would think freeze up is a week away. I plan to head north Tues-Wed for the last of the river jump shooting before the artic weather hits. I am deer hunting in a local park Nov 11-14.

The drive out there Friday night was white knuckle, stay between the ditches, scary. We should have gone south and taken I90, but we mistakenly chose the shorter, more direct route. The weather was either blinding snow on a 5 inch base or rain on top of the snow and below freezing temps. What a mess...

Anyone use them for hunting? Cabelas has one model at half price on a closeout. But I wonder if the model-specific CO cartridges will continue to be available.

A hit or miss season. Limits or skunked. I got a late start as I went caribou hunting. And my up-north hunting got cut short with the early freeze. But overall I did well.
