Re: Drought

Most of Mn will be back into the yellow by mid May. Likely 1/3 of Mn will be in the tan by June 1st. You can predict the future? I had an inch of rain in my guage this morning, slow steady rain fell over a decent part of southern MN from SW to NE. We shall see but it's been wet lately . . . . .and ...

Re: Drought

Very!

I talked to my farmer friend in SE ND. He said it was dry, not terrible but that was last month. I think they had very little snow over the winter. It's dry overall over the upper-mid west.

Re: Vaccines

I got the J&J two weeks ago, along with my wife. We were in Florida and on a whim found openings that day. I felt fine after. I wouldn't have got it but I spoke with my sister in law at length about it, it's downstream effectiveness and impact. She is a Pharm D at Mayo and I trust her judgement ...

Re: Sports Abyss

I would rather watch my kids play, with plenty of high school and AAU games. I literally could care less about pro sports. I'll watch a few nfl games. I haven't watched a T-wolves games in years. Baseball is so painfully slow and I'm usually fishing or outside.

Re: This would be a dream come true

I think West river has some decent waterfowl hunting if you find the right mix. The black hills would be fun to live in. Close to the mountains . . . .7 hours to either steamboat or bozeman. Nice weather, good fishing, etc.

Re: So what are you doing with your Gubberment stimulus $1400?

^^^ You actually have to file taxes to get it.... More power to you for resisting and giving them the finger. Nothing, don't qualify. I'll just pay it off, along with my kids and my kids kids. This current generation will go down as the most selfish in the history of our nation. But he7 as long as ...

Re: Snow goose time?

I'm pretty sure you can get into snows in SW MN, probably as early as next week or even this weekend. I have zero desire at this point to hunt snows.

Re: Snow goose time?

When it first started back in the early 2000's I went every year. Mostly just pass shot, one day got 100 Plus and 3 bands. Otherwise you get muddy, frustrated and tired. I would rather get ready for open water fishing at this point.

Re: Any Wildlife Wood Projects?

Nice. Someday I'll buy a place with some property where I can manage some wildlife. https://www.whitetailproperties.com/hunting-land/minnesota/le-sueur/waterfowl-hunters-dream-in-minnesota-river-bottom-region Let's go halfsies? I've see that before. You could make that a really fun place to hunt wi...
