It wouldn't. Just pointing out ND isn't shy about charging NR a ton to hunt. I think MN should follow but for fishing.

For how good MN fishing is do we just give away our NR Fishing licenses? If North Dakota can charge $175 for a Waterfowl license you can only use 14 days why can't we bump up NR Fishing license cost. Lower the cost or let us hunt the full waterfowl season in ND. JFC

Don't know anyone that traps but do they do it because there is still money in it? I thought they just did it for fun and if they made some gas money that's just a plus
