Re: Post a picture you took in the last week.

Ha. Ha. Years ago, we enticed a mallard into our house from our patio with ever closer pieces of bread. Once he got in, we decided it wasn't such a good idea as he got agitated. He did find his way back out without incident though.

It's a timer for your lights. The timer itself is powered by a 9V battery.

Re: Anyone Gearing Up for Snows?

The "most well known "guide" in MO" would be the one that gets the license and the guy that works his tail off would likely have trouble getting through the process. How will regulation solve a problem? Last month, I had a fishing trip scheduled in Florida, where captains are lic...

Re: Anyone Gearing Up for Snows?

Fowler, you can rail against g/o all you want. For those of who are not as skilled as you or don't have knowledge or time, they serve a purpose. They work for me. When you call out specific g/o when you don't know the full story, you cross the line. And as far as more government regulation, we don't...

Re: Anyone Gearing Up for Snows?

Fowler, your reputation just took a huge hit. Why would you cut and paste someone else's critical review unless you were personally involved? Do you take special pleasure in trying to ruin someone's business without personal knowledge of the facts. Let the directly affected people post and defend th...

Re: Anyone Gearing Up for Snows?

Yesterday was a lot slower. Almost nothing flying in the AM except specks, pintails, and mallards. It was cold, overcast, and insanely windy. A fair number of modest-sized flocks in the PM. We ended the day with only 4. The guide suggesting that the birds have a hard time landing in such high winds....

Re: Anyone Gearing Up for Snows?

Ended the day with 25 total.
4 were the tasty Rosses.
A few adults but mostly juvies.
Birds were hard to finish.
Lots of specks.
No shortage of birds.

Re: Anyone Gearing Up for Snows?

Not Al. Just a guy from Florida often mistaken for Uncle Si.
16 birds this AM.
Had a flock of 500 work us for 15 minutes within 80 yards. We did get 6 of them.
Birds aren't finishing as well today. Yesterday was mostly 15 yard shots.
