Re: A Sky Bust too far?

Figured I'd give up and see what you experts think..... All I can say is you think for even one minute that we're experts I'd call a psychiatrist immediately  You got way bigger problems than ya realize. As for sky bustin I'm all for it as long as I'm the one doing the deed & not the other...

Re: The many seasons of waterfowl

No early or late seasons. No Spring Snow hunting. Boy have things changed... Changed a lot IMO. Most of it for the better. Much improved clothing & waders helped a bunch. When I remember "the good old days" I remember leakin waders & being wet & cold all day. Crappy steel shot...

Re: Pheasant opener: Hunters might....

Nothing like a media campaign to sell licenses. The drop in hunters last year must have hit them hard. But they have a 'gut feeling' there's more birds. This is comforting to hear coming from a department full of biologists who practice and follow hard science... Well said Now get out there & b...

Re: Lake Christina

I enjoyed the star trib article even though it was written by Anderson. It would be fun to hunt Christina once due to its history & the thousands of dollars in restoration that have been spent. Have to add that one to the bucket list. Anyone up for a trip to Christina this fall? Maybe we can get...

Re: good opener

I'm willing to give the longer split in the south zone a chance. Will it be better or worse?-I have no idea. Just glad to see the DNR try something different. One thing I'm sure of-most duck hunters are whiners. Talked to guys last weekend that shot a limit & were still whining. Must be a specia...

[quote="gimpfinger"]Only thing I wear. /quote] That scares the hill outta me. From now on I'm detouring around Redwood Co. :D Just heard the 80 degree forecast. Time to drink some wine, eat some cheese, & take in a few rays. Can't remember which movie that was in but it's a good line.
