Re: Snows

Thanks! It took 5 trucks in different locations to find the spot, so the scouting sucks, but when doesn't it during the tougher times. We found one other roost but the birds never left it for some reason, the most we are finding is around 5k at the most in one spot.

Re: Snows

They are still in ND, takes a while to find them, but the reward is glorious!

Re: Open water and iced over reports.

LOL ^^^ I'm with on that one, even if the limit was 3 a day and had to be drakes. Is not a resident season in ND 70 days + the high plain season on the MO River for 3 weeks? Lars, I'm not sure what you are talking about choosing 60 days part is about. You would want to hunt ducks in the spring, it'...

Re: Open water and iced over reports.

How about this scenario-- Do it somewhat like the Dakotas, for instance, the DNR says the season will open Sept. 12(example) and close on Dec. 31, you get 60 days(consecutive) to choose on your license, Choose them wisely. This way no one will complain about missing the early BWT and woodies and los...

Re: Rochester

It's not the vets fault, it's the retards running the hunt. And you are bashing the people helping out the Wounded Warriors???....WOW Ha, you obviously do NOT hunt. If you ever have, you would know that lots of people hunt them birds. I've hunted the area for 25 years. I hunt plenty, a hell of a lo...

Re: Whitewater

It can actually be pretty fun, but a lot of work, the streams will hold pockets of birds just about anywhere. I've put a lot of miles on walking streams with buddies and shooting birds, but we've never found a concentration big enough to set up on, its mostly jump shooting. In my days down there, we...

Re: Rochester

And you are a conceded, selfish bastard. And No, I do not help out with that hunt as I now live 370 miles from that town, but you are definitely concerned with "Your" hunting and clearly don't care about anyone else, typical dip shit. Also, that is on private land(who I do know), the lando...

I know, how selfish of those disabled vets and people helping them out, they should call you and see if its ok first......

Re: Did You Shoot A Deer?

Shot about a 130" 8 pt on my last day of hunting for deer. Hunt in area 346, we are allowed 5 deer apiece if we choose so, sat 3 days and never seen a doe on stand, saw 6 bucks.

Re: Rochester

The Veteran's hunts are generally held this weekend, the deer hunt at Chester Woods and the goose hunt in various locations, including the Salem Pits, its easy to get wheelchairs over there.
