Yeah, I think that we have some time yet for some good goose hunting. There are some good deals during the middle of the week, Mon-Thurs from some of the guide services in Rochester (i.e. $50.00 per gun). If not, maybe a bunch of us could get together, pool our resources, and make a hunt happen.

I clean mine if it has been raining or I get it wet from splashing. Mostly the cleaning is just disassembly and drying it out. My SBE-II is a little bit touchy if it has been wet and then freezes. Otherwise, I thoroughly clean it at the end of the season.

I've been using Carlson's Mid-Range tube in my SBE-II, because that is what they recommend for their Snow Goose loads, 1625 fps. Using No. 2 loads has proved to be deadly. Either you completely miss or they are dead in the air.

How about organizing one so that we can get together? Either a free lance hunt or a rented field/pit could work.
