Re: A duck dilemma: How many is too many?

Blaming liberal bag limits for the lack of ducks is taking the easy way out in my opinion. We all know that habitat is the key (I think we all know that at least). There is no way that I believe that here in Minnesota we are harvesting enough ducks to make a spit of difference. Many of the hunters t...

I don't plan on dressing that heavy Chuck  The advantage of hunting au naturale is that the competition tends to give you a lot more room!

Re: Wild Rice Crop

Nershi, I've been driving up 210 to Aitkin for work a few times this summer and thought the rice looked really good...most notably Rice lake ( I think that was the name). I really have no prior experience in the area and I am wondering if this is below "normal" for these waters or am I jus...

Re: Sights from Baudette to the Cities

Would it be correct to say that you saw "Canadian Canada Geese"....

Say what you want about the fish eating birds (pelicans, mergansers, cormorants) it is a sight to behold when they have the "fishing machine" going.

Re: Oars

Re: 1 1/4 vs 1 1/8?

I am no ballistics expert and my understanding of physics doesn't go much beyond what goes up must come down...but I always choose the heavier loads over the extra speed for the simple reason that more pellets means more chances to make a kill. I am sure that some dweeb (sorry if this offends you La...

Re: Ahhhh whoo?

Here is my definition of sky busting: Shooting beyond the ballistic capabilities of the shot shell/gun AND beyond the shooters ability. . And what special instrument do you use to determine this? How do you gain the ability to shoot at longer distances? And when you are labeling said person as a &q...
