I usually get out a couple times a year more towards the end of the season. We also do a game farm once a year usually buy 60 birds and try to get 10 guys..... gauging for the dogs!!

nothing I don't like as of now, I have been hunting out of it for 2 years now. I used 3/4" EMT and 7/8" bimini top parts to make the hinges, just dermal them out to fit.

a cool book to read is Outlaw gunners!!! it is about the last of the last east coast market gunners and what they did/ made / tricks they used and how when they stopped birds changed for the better and worse.

Being able to use lead shot But man oh man 2 3/4" #5 lead was a killer load. You could reach out & touch em with those shells. I used to hand load in low brass Peter's Blue Magic hulls, 1.5 oz 5 shot lead using 36.2 grains of 571 powder. Funny how I can remember that 35 years later and not...
