Walking thru waist deep snow for a ditch parrot is not my idea of fun............ hunted ditch parrots in SD a few years back. wasnt the snow as much as the humidity that sukd that wknd. Never got above -10 both days of hunting. Had to carry my dog out of the field that day she was so hypothermic. ...

Plenty of corn in south dakota, we drove from nd/sd border to ipswich to aberdeen to redfield huron then miller and pierre last week. few farmers in huron area were starting on corn. every single wpa pot hole puddle we drove past had ducks on it.

My buddy went to Devils lake yesterday pulling his argo. They will be stuck inside all day today. Sent me a video pretty much horse sh!t up there. Im betting there wont be many ducks left in that area for a good 3 weeks until it all melts. the 10 day high up there doesnt look good for melting it. W...
