Devils lake report:
Friday: seeing a few migrating flocks of mallards, and geese. id say a trickle at best. small sloughs froze thursday night into friday. Medium sloughs froze friday night into this morning. Large migration of hunters as well. iMO birds arent here yet. probly by mid week next week.

wednesday: bluebird day 58 variable wind. lots of buffies around. mallards are stale, some snows making their way in. feeds of 1-2k. not many tho. thursday: winds nnw 30 gusting to 55. been out all day jumping protected sloughs. have shot a few fat grn heads. rest are ringers. not much for migration...

heading to Devils lake tonight. hoping tom is good ahead of the big blow Thursday. ill report back in 24 hrs
