Re: Guess Who's Back?

Default filters have been in place since the beginning. You fellas seem to find creative ways around them for the most part

Re: 5 years

Hah! It'll probably lapse again but I promise to bring it back up within a day or two! It has been a pleasure having you guys here, though I don't post much I am dropping in and enjoying the conversations. It would be great to get a few more regulars in here, not sure what it will take but I'm open ...

Re: Cold weather ATV starting

I fight this same issue every winter when it comes time to plow, finally switched to an AGM last fall with the highest CCA I could find in that size. So far so good, but I still don't have much confidence in it. Thinking about being stranded - my ATV has a pull start in addition to elec (I thought t...

Re: "Welcome" & "Tapatalk Is Available...." Thread Sticky's

Seems like a worthy suggestion, I'll see about moving those stickies out of the way.

Ad revenue has been great, especially during "season", I think we cleared $12 last month [GRINNING FACE WITH SMILING EYES]

Re: MN Waterfowl Hunting & Migration Reports 2018

General: 27 September 2018 Duck hunters had a good opening weekend across the state. Blue-winged teal, wood ducks, and mallards were most common birds in hunters’ bags in most areas; ring-necked ducks and green-winged teal were also common on some lakes. The number of ducks/hunter at different loca...

Re: Kayak hunting....

Tried a standard kayak (10' old town loon), though it worked, I wasn't very comfortable with it. Ended up going in on an order of aquapods with a buddy years back and enjoyed hunting out of it quite a bit. Had room for a bag of decoys & the dog. A guy could stand and shoot if he wanted to, but w...

MN Waterfowl Hunting & Migration Reports 2018

Fresh from Mr. Cordts - I'll try to keep up with these as they come out. General: 20 September 2018 Duck hunters should expect to see good numbers of ducks present in most areas on opening weekend based on reports from state and federal wildlife managers. Blue-winged teal, wood ducks, and mallards s...

Re: Shotgun sight

I agree with all points here. I shot my best match with a missing front sight on a shotgun that fit me properly.

Pat Kelly has some good YouTube vids on getting LOP all squared away, I'll try to dig it up tomorrow.

That's awesome, thanks for the link. Pretty neat to see what used to be in the neighborhood before development went into full effect.

Re: Thanksgiving feast, so simple even Ron (Bullet) could make it.

I'm on the hunt for a decent roast pan by Christmas, probably going to be a red meat variant this time around. It's amazing how many products contain peanuts or soy when you need to pay attention to it. Also on the lactose thing - I feel like as I get older it affects me more. I'm down to the point ...
