A few small groups of Cans today, and a couple of Bills. Nothing to write home about. Coot everywhere!

Heading north shortly. Got the Ford 650 with the quad engine surface drives ready to go.
Ask Al how to successfully nest wood ducks, see you next season.

Nice try the dock at north is on rollers and not that big!!

Swans start showing up at my spot 1-month before our season is over and we still shoot ducks. What correlation does swans and merganser have?

No scientific correlation, but an old myth from the older guys @ North Lake that repeat it often. I've also shot other ducks after the Swans, Mergies, and Buffies show up. It's all good no matter what.

My guess is North, Weaver, etc if not already will be locked tight by Friday. 3 1/2 weeks left to hunt and she is pretty much over. Uuuugghhh!
