Fish are predators too.

I saw this and thought it interesting enough to share on in that it is not just mammalian (racoon, fox, mink, etc), or Avian (crows, owls, eagles) predators that ducklings have deal with to survive, but fish too prey on ducklings.

No surprise at all. I think snapping turtles are a much bigger threat to ducklings because they exist in shallow lakes and wetlands that freeze out pike.
