One has to wonder how this plant may effect the grasslands for our wildlife in the future.

It will affect everywhere if/when it ever gets here. The stuff grows 3x faster than waterhemp which is already becoming resistant in areas and hard to impossible to kill. I didn't actually read the article so I don't know if it is in there and apologies if it is, but I read an article on the 26th saying it was found in Buffalo County South Dakota. Don't know if it was confirmed yet though.
