Woodie Camp - August 9 - 15, 2015

Woodie Camp Applications are now available on line and will be open until mid May 2015. Woodie Camp is a week long (7 days and 6 nights) conservation camp for kids ages 13 - 15. At Woodie Camp the campers will learn everything about the outdoors and specifically waterfowl. The campers will shoot shot guns, learn to blow a duck and goose call, learn about wetland and upland ecology, waterfowl ID, photography, decoy painting, gun cleaning, boat and water safety, how to set up decoys, plays games and have the time of their lives!! They will surely make memories that will last a lifetime. Woodie Camp isn't a turn key youth camp where we put our name on it and that's it. No, in fact, all of our instructors are volunteers of MWA, and they come to us from all over the state to teach the kids at Camp. The staff at Camp are all MWA employees, and most everything we use at Woodie Camp is owned by the MWA. So we can honestly say this IS an MWA youth camp like no other. If you have a youth between the ages of 13 and 15 and they have their Firearm's Safety Certificate, they can apply to Woodie Camp.

The dates for Woodie Camp will be August 9 - 15, 2015. Here is the link to apply on-line: https://mwa.sportngin.com/register/form/341520896

If you would like to donate toward Woodie Camp, please contact our Executive Director, Brad Nylin at brad.nylin@mnwaterfowl.com or call the office 952-767-0320.

Thank you for your support of our future!!
