MN NR Fishing Licenses

Wed Oct 21, 2015 11:07 am

For how good MN fishing is do we just give away our NR Fishing licenses? If North Dakota can charge $175 for a Waterfowl license you can only use 14 days why can't we bump up NR Fishing license cost. Lower the cost or let us hunt the full waterfowl season in ND. JFC

If the MNDNR increased the cost of non-res fishing licenses, how would that make your hunting any better?

Quit your crying and move to ND if you want to hunt there. Plenty of employment opportunities if that's what you want.

Far as I'm concerned MN should prohibit anyone from hunting, fishing, or boating outside the county of their residence. That would eliminate nonres licenses altogether AND stop invasive species. Might even be an economic driver out state.

It wouldn't. Just pointing out ND isn't shy about charging NR a ton to hunt. I think MN should follow but for fishing.

Seems pretty stupid, considering you're not obligated to buy an ND non res hunting license.
