Actually listened to a bee expert on the radio. According to him there is no bee die off of natural bees, there is a die off of "bees for hire". Basically orchards hire bees to come to the orchard by the semi load to get more fruit but because of the un-natural way the bees are bred they are weaker than wild bees and die easily.

Now again - this is just what the guy said....which made sense as most of what we hear these days is a lie anyway.

So don't worry, there is no big disappearance of wild bees.

Don't feel like reading the article but if it's about neonicitinoids, they kill very minimal bees if any. Big bee killer, like mentioned above are the bees being transported across country to like California for pollination of their crops.

Neonic seed treatments, which people get crabby about only have approximately 30 day life (protecting seed and early germination), well short of any bee colonization.

I did, I followed the money trail. As usual it's ALL about the $ for the chemical COs.

Naw, I just have to look at the MN wetlands in the WSW 1/2 of MN on how degraded they are and any one worth 2 bits can tell something is awfully wrong. I'm not saying farm chemicals is the sole culprit, but it is a big factor in the mix of what wrong with our wetlands
