Morning rush-hour drivers on Interstate 4 Wednesday will see that message as they pass by Conroy Road.

The Animal Rights Foundation of Florida said it plans to hang a huge banner declaring that, "Holidays are murder on turkeys."

The group urges people to celebrate Thanksgiving by eating turkey substitutes, such as Tofurky, made from plant protein and spices.

It says 250 million turkeys are killed in the country annually — 45 million for Thanksgiving meals.

Tofurky? Yeah, no thanks!

Think of it this way, that's the reason those 250 million turkeys we hatched..we didn't eat them there probably would be no turkeys...

So what does an animal rights activist have for thanksgiving dinner?

It would have to be a synthetic blend of something. If they eat anything else, they're at risk of depriving animals of their main food source.
