This unit will keep the water open year round regardless of temperature. Perfect for keeping water open around duck blind. Typically used in ponds, marinas, and around private docks to prevent ice from forming. No longer have use for this unit. 1/2 hp 120V 5 amp. Will operate in as little as 15 in of water. Is it legal to put one of these on public lakes? I'd like to place one in front of a public access to give my ice fishing spots a little more elbow room.
