Hey Ho Waterfowl neighbors.... taking the SBE off the market for now as I learned more about it's heritage.
No, it's not that sweet inherited gift no one had value in until they took it to Antique Road Show.
Rather, I talked to a guy that knows more about these guns than I do and learned my providence was faulty.
It's a 1999 SBE I. I had most of it right, but the inter webs led me astray on determining the vintage. Found a chart that states what the stamp is that let's you know the year of production. A serial # look-up doesn't do it.
Needless to say, the $700 price was more like if it had optics and ammo as a package deal. I've got a couple things to do with it. If it's re-available I'll repost it.
