Carstens Mallard

I have a Carstens Mallard in my garage that is hanging on the wall. I bought it in rough shape and had Carstens restore it. Now it is in great shape. I am still not sure if I really want to sell it or not. I have not had time to move everything out of the way to take pictures, I might get to that soon. It works great for two guys and gear. Not so great for two guys gear and dog. $400

It's an old design, so might have been the "mallard" before the current product list and nomenclature. I don't like to think of myself old enough to go "back in the day", but as I recall first gen Carsten's went: Pintail = 1 man; Mallard = 2 man; Bluebill = 2 man w/motor.

I find it sad that I have any recall of this. I can't ever remember what pocket I put my f'ing keys in.

lanyard pretty much nailed it. I had some people asking about this on Facebook too. It is an older Mallard model. Like I said, I bought it with a hole in it and had it fixed up. Has been stored in the garage since I have had it restored.
