Haha me too!

Dad and I are going to sit tomorrow morning. Going to place him along the food plot and I'm going to be about 60 yards behind him on an inside corner of a field. First mature doe either of us have a shot at is going down.

Its a really bad pic sorry, hes obviously chasing, but pretty sure this is the buck I've had several encounters with...he's still alive this was just taken Weds. Hopefully I'll get a better pic of him. All the pics on the cam were at night.

Sat tonight just on a chair at an ambush point along the trail the camera is on. Didn't see anything. Was able to stalk a small buck walking out to the stand. Be out again tomorrow afternoon. Good luck!

Weird night. Walking out jumped a deer. Walk another 200 yards and jump another...but it doesn't run away? Jumps again...I notice this buck had vines wrapped around its antlers. It must have clotheslined itself 5 times while I was standing there, trying to get free. Started thinking about what I should do and he finally got free. Was a basket 8.

Buddy was out with me and he saw a badly injured small buck but had no shot. So I may have to fill my tag with him if I come across him.

Didn't see anything while in the stand.

Glad you said you'd full your tag on him, I always take an injured animal if it happens by me and its legal.

Yeah sounded like one of his back legs was completely inoperable and he was almost falling down walking through the snow...he even laid down for about 5 min. Hate seeing that. If I can't get him my Dad may go muzzleloader maybe he can target that deer

You should be able to get a tag from the local conservation officer to kill wounded deer, without burning yours.

Didn't see anything tonight. Limited view from my spot on the ground, sitting 20 yards off the trail I watched this buck walk 3 times. Unfortunately no deer have been taking it during daylight recently.

I think peak was this past week on our property...so hopefully they start nosing around again this week. Forecast looks fairly decent except tomorrow.

Didn't hunt yesterday because I had Thanksgiving but Saturday morning I had three come through my plot about 5 minutes before legal shooting light. The first two were does and the third was a buck but couldn't determine how big. After that had a button buck feed in there for a half hour but his mom only made a 30 second appearance with no shot opportunities. Nothing Saturday evening.

Close to throwing in the towel...deer are leaving our property going to their winter area. I will attempt to get out tomorrow and probably Saturday, maybe Monday as its supposed to be warmer. Once it hits Dec it typically sucks on our land. Had one small 6 pt buck on my camera with every point busted off...night pic. No fresh tracks. Didn't see anything tonight
