Slug Gun

Anyone have any experience with the Savage Model 220 or 210? I'd never heard of them before going in to buy new sights for one of our shotguns. Needless to say, I am likely pulling the trigger on this gun this week. Going with the Model 220 (20 gauge version).

I've shot a 220 a few times. Combined with a good shotgun scope and the right slugs its a range extender for sure over your basic 12 gauge pumpkin chucker.

Well. I love it. They bore sighted it for me which got me on the paper at 25 yards. A few adjustments and the holes are overlapping at 50 yards. That's in 10 shots, 3 of which were redundant but I was having too much fun. Now to find a spot to shoot with a little more real estate and back it out to 100. Nothing like waiting 'til the last minute!

Take out to 200 yards...you'll be surprised at what you can do with the right sabots.
