Planted and fertilized my plot yesterday and it's been raining most of the morning so far! Chance all day and through the night.

If anyone is looking for a good soil test kit, Whitetail Institute has a great one. For the kit and to ship it was $16 so not too bad. They email you results within 24 hours letting you know your pH, OM, N. P. K, Ca, Mg, and liming recommendations for the type of crop you are planting based on your soil results. Very nicely organized and explained.

Yeah love that back field. 100 acres cattails on one side, 40 acres of woods on the other. They love running through there. Half mile off a road and no houses in sight its nice and secluded

Looks good! Hopefully you didn't over seed the brassicas. They don't compete well with one another.

Might have haha. I don't ever feel like I am spreading enough, then it comes up and its thick. I thought I used a lot less this time than other years. Oh well

It'll probably be fine! I know what you mean about feeling like not spreading enough though, especially with that tiny seed. 2-5lbs an acre I believe is what is recommended depending on application method.
