Anybody planted Austrian Winter Peas before? Thinking back over the 10 years I've done plots, just seems like my deer do not like the brassicas. Think I am done with them, they just don't touch them. They seem to love the beans out there, so was thinking of trying the winter Peas.

First few years I planted Biologic New Zealand Clover Plus and that seems like the best plots I ever had for holding deer. Maybe all these annuals are just a waste and they don't want them

I planted 4010 peas this year in my mix and they got hammered right away.

If I were you, try an Austrian winter pea or 4010 pea with some winter rye and winter wheat for a season.

Thanks will try some of that, done with the radishes, beets, and turnips. Even the area the farmer tore up they aren't touching it. Need to try something different instead of going back to the same old thing

Verdict is still out on my plot with tillage radishes in it. The tops are about completely eaten off but time will tell whether or not they will eat the bulbs.
