2015 Bow Hunting Reports

Anybody else make it out? Went this afternoon and this doe came in 5 min after getting in the stand. Little while later saw a group of 3 decent bucks...I think one was a shooter. Little hard to see through the binos but looked big. Was exciting to see some anglers again!

Saw that 4 pt again tonight. Biggest 4 pt I've ever seen. Past his ears and tall, big body he'll be a nice deer in a couple years. I also saw what looked like the start of a scrape...wasn't there yesterday. Never seen one this early. But that 4 pt was rubbing his face all over branches as he walked the field edge

I probably wont go for another week or more. I shoot Muzzy Trocars and the guy handed me a pack when I bought my bow. Came to find out when I got home they have the deep 6 inserts so they wont screw into my FMJs. I need them to make sure my broadheads are flying true in my new bow before I can even think about going out. Have a few bucks hitting my mock scrapes though so that's pretty exciting.

Started harvesting last Tuesday so i'll be really busy for the next few weeks anyhow and by then hopefully the temps start to go down.

Good luck this fall everyone!

I went tonight. I saw nothing. Mosquitoes are still out.

Really wanted to sit in the food plot tonight with it getting cold and a perfect wind, but jumped 2 deer walking out and on looking over the food plot the big 4 was already in there. Quietly backed out and sat in a different stand

Really wish I had time to make a few sits right now. Had a little time in between corn fields yesterday to check a couple cameras and have bucks on their feet in the mornings.

Plan is to make it out tomorrow afternoon...we'll see been a little busy. I don't get too serious right now but I usually sit a few more times than this by now. No time

Same here. I've yet to go; way too busy with harvest. I was hoping to go Thursday morning after the front moves through but it's the exact opposite wind that I need to hunt a stand I want to hunt. I think I might take a couple hours off of work tomorrow morning and hunt it before the front instead. Tomorrow afternoon would be a good time to go.
