2015 Bow Hunting Reports

Had that camera out for four days, had 10-12 deer come through that one trail, every single one at night. One doe right at sunset. Downright depressing, can only hope this cool down gets them eating and moving a little earlier

Looks like rain may clear out for a bit. Maybe see if my clothes are dry, still not sure if I want to walk through that field again its going to be even worse today. But can't go Friday night and Thursday will be too windy, may be raining tomorrow. We'll see

I haven't been bow hunting in a couple weeks because I was gun hunting. Opening day noticed bucks following does heavy in my area. (Near Starbuck, MN). Had 4 bucks following one doe. Shot a decent 8 at 9:30 on opening day. Our party ended up filling out. Last time I sat was Sunday. Watched a big bruiser of a buck herding two does away from a smaller buck on am open hillside at 9 am. Too bad it was 500 yards away and no way to get close.

Sat in one of my usual bow stands Sunday of opening weekend. Hadn't seen a deer so I got down. An hour after I left a nice buck walked by the trail camera by that stand following a doe. Here are a couple pictures.

Wow, all three are great bucks.

I'll have to dig around for a few pictures of deer i've gotten from people this year.
