Checked my camera this morning and some day time activity in my plot but no nice bucks. They've hammered the plot in the last week though so I think I have a decent chance at a doe in the next couple weeks.

I saw a big buck chasing a doe in town on Saturday. Usually when you start seeing them in town it is close to the end of the rut. At least that's what I've the last few years but I'm no deer hunter.

Didn't see anything. Since Saturday on the camera he can through twice and a couple does...seems a tad more active out there. Field is thawed and a mess again

He's a solid deer...not an absolute monster but bigger than anything I've killed. I'd be more than happy if I got him

Good luck, going to head out and sit off that trail, wind is the right direction today. Hopefully deer are hungry with the system moving in
