That's better!

No luck for me Saturday but didn't spend a lot of time out.

Same guy found another (I wasn't with this time) on Friday.....one side to a basket 6 this time (didn't have brows, other wise it would have been an 8). I was stuck at work and he took a short walk. Again, not picture worthy, especially considering it wasn't mine :D.... that's 4 for my group now, although I can only account for 1

Talked to a guy yesterday that lives 20 minutes south of me and he said he saw 5 bucks still carrying this past week.

Was out yesterday and all I found was a cougar kill.

I've been hearing about this from all over the midwest and watching closely. Just being out and about for work, fun and running cameras I can see a pile of deer on any given day, and either I'm seeing a bunch of does or the one's I see have shed. I personally haven't seen antlers on a deer since January but also believe anyone who still is seeing bucks carrying their racks. It's not unheard of for them to carry into May.

I took my cameras down due to trespassing issues but into the late February 20s I still had 4 holding. Give it another shot this weekend.

soooooo...... numbers got boosted a little these last 2 weeks, no thanks to me.

Buddy #1: has found 10 total this year, most of which were nice. All but one would have been 100" plus deer with matches.. hefound one that was a small basket but 9/10 were overall really respectable.
Buddy #2: is now at 4 for the year. 3 were nice, 1 was a basket
Myself: I'm still at a measly 1 side to a basket

Buddy 1 & 2 found together a matching set to maybe a 110" deer. One of the sides Buddy #2 found would have been close to a 140" 8 point.... some were 2 years old (or possibly older) none were chewed bad

In most cases (minus yesterday) I was with and just drew the short straw as to where I went to look.

We walked through the woods a little last Saturday but they don't really winter on our property so wasn't expecting to find any. Did find all the rubs from last fall that I didn't see cause I don't walk all over in the fall
