Was going to start this week and then I looked at the thermometer.....

Rumor has it they're starting, buddies have been finding a few but as always deer are being spotted with full head gear yet... maybe later in the week when it warms up

Going to go out for a little bit Saturday I think. Checked one of my cameras at noon today and didn't have a single antler in the pictures where I was getting 3 bucks a day before. I have it 10' up in a tree so cant see bases very well to tell if they have shed or does moved in.

I saw an 8, possibly a 10 yesterday with full head gear yet.... looking at the weekend forecast, I'm not that ambitious yet

Went out a little bit on Friday afternoon.... No luck. I had a deer in the yard over the weekend with no antlers I was sure was a buck. By the time I got optics out he had didsapeared and only doe's left

Walked two miles Saturday with no luck.

Had an antlerless buck show up this week on camera. Walked a little bit on Tuesday with no success. Liking the coming 10-day forecast though! Definitely will be getting out the next couple weeks

I think I'm going to spend most of Sunday out looking if I'm not fishing.

Went out yesterday for a lay up... As close to a gaurantee as I could ever asked. I had one sided 8 pt show up on camera the morning of the 24th, he left and came back that afternoon with no antlers. This food plot is right next to bedding area so I thought for sure I'd easily find the one side at least nearby when he went to bed for the day..... NOPE

Bummer! I haven't checked my camera in a while so I'm going to do that tomorrow I think.
