First evidence of chasing tonight. Heard a loud crunch then two deer running the hillside for about 3 min with the buck grunting like crazy from behind. Should be a fun few days

Had a little guy come through tonight with half his rack busted off. Tomorrow is probably my last sit before gun, told the boys I would smoke pulled pork for deer camp so that's Thursdays project

I didn't think it could get much worse than last year but this year's been tough. Sign popping up all over, and new sign daily but with the temps and whatever else comes into play all my pics are still night time. I have tc pics of swollen rutted up deer at 4:00 am. Just when I think things are starting to pickup I'll sit in a tree for 3 sits and not see anything. It was a promising Sept, no complaints about october (except the lack of cold fronts) but the last few days have been great for sun tanning, slow for deer. Plenty of small bucks and no- bonus tags for me so it's been a pretty boring year. I'll sit tomorrow but the orange army takes to field (seemingly) alot earlier this year and I may not sit now until potentially after thanksgiving, things gotta cool off.... Full moon coming middle of gun season with the 10day forecasted coldest temps in the low 50's..... good luck to the centerfire guys. Hoping for a decent muzzleloader season.

Yeah gun hunting is gonna suck balls for seeing deer, I don't even care. I'll be back on my land with a bow Monday, the 200 acres of standing corn surrounding my property should give them good cover while I'm away

Just had an 8 chase a doe within 20 ft of my stand, 10:30 am. She wasn't having any of it after 15 min he walked the opposite way. Both tongues hanging out and panting heavy

Seems pretty slow from what I have heard. Our group of 12 in SE MN got one doe(no one else was wanting a doe so several got passed), there were two missed bucks and some smaller bucks that got the pass. They figured out pretty quick people are in the woods with guns, huge drop in movement between Saturday and Sunday. My employees group didn't get anything in central MN(missed one buck didn't see anything else), and my dads project manager's group didn't get anything up by Leech.

#@$#@$$##@$$#@#$!!!

Had him at 20 yards tonight right at close. I had a matter of seconds to try and pick up my sights on my bow as he charged at a doe and I just couldn't make a confident shot. It all happened so quick I had about 6 seconds to take a shot, and I just couldn't do it. He didn't get scared, I was able to draw back and everything without him getting scared just couldn't line the shot up. Damn that sucks
