Minnesota Waterfowl Hunting

Ive got more windshield time in scouting, looking for sign and glassing for fur this year already than I have in most winters and have nothing to show for it. Lots of sign around but I'm not sure what the deal is. I spent 12 hours on monday looking around and calling with nothing to show for it. I was out the door at 6:30am and home for lunch then back at it until 9pm. I made 10 sets calling and put on about 100 miles. Lots of tracks around. Anyone having some luck? I keep chambering the same round when I go out and I think its going to wear through the brass soon.........

Way to many people out this year. Can't seem to get away from them.

Team Power Dump

Coworker had 3 in his yard this morning. Saw a lot of tracks while pheasant hunting last weekend. Haven't hunted yet.

If anybody gets out to western MN calling and wants access to some land feel free to PM me. I won't be back home doing any hunting this winter and the one other guy I let hunt is working most weekends. You just have to watch out for the crews of drunk road hunting bar tourney "hunters."

we need more snow to kill these things,, too much food, all night movement , nothing will change. until more snow, or until the breeding season , there is more tracks crossing the roads as ever this year. they are out there

I hunt with a guy that has been cruzing the backroads in the mornings for weeks, in good areas where we have killed many thoughout the years.. he has put on 400 miles with not a single yote seen.. very odd, says tracks all over

Hunted three nights so far. Called in 3 coyotes and killed 2. Missed a fox last night with the shotgun. Really wish lights and rifles were legal together.
