The days of "local" fur buyers are really close to gone...seems like I have to go further every year to meet them

Muskrat where are you going now? Nebraska seems to give me the best money and most options right now.

Text a buddy in Lyon County last night. His response:

"Coon dropped a lot in the last week. Last week average for a group I brought in was 20 bucks and the group I brought in Monday I got 9.50. Coyotes are looking at about 15-20."

All fur is going to be low this year except otter. China is still sitting on last years fur, so sell now if you have a pile of hides.

My dad just got 65.00 for an ave sized one. Getting them on beaver dams.

Just talked with a local trapper, he got 300+ coon dried and stretched they offered him $15 average. Earlier in the year he said they were getting $20 average.

Just sold some fur today at Johnson fur co. in willmar. Un-skun coyotes $35 top dollar, $20 for the lower grades, and $10 for a couple ratty ones...

Red fox-10 dollars apiece
Raccoon- $10
I talked to a trapper that had a few skun out coons and he was getting around $10 apiece for them, they were smaller ones.... Timber wolfs are bringing $300 bucks....
