Hey what size bipods are best? Need to pick one up along with a sling this week and hope I can add to the pics. Been wanting to get out since I got my rifle 3 years ago hopefully this is the weekend I do it

What I found was the bipods long enough for sitting were too long for prone and we usually tried to call from prone on the prairie.

So of course, I ended up with two bipods.

The main consideration was to buy ones with the swivel for uneven ground regardless of length.

But, that was years ago and I haven't shot any rifles but a deer rifle in about a decade.

The harris 27" swivel bi pod works nice for sitting up.

I've had to many coyotes come from behind and try to have their way with me while laying prone.

I haven't gone at all but haven't seen a single one driving around and no tracks on our property where I normally see them. Didn't see one all fall harvesting or bow hunting either which is weird.

They are around. I hear them howling all the time and hear the same from lots of other people. It seems more and more people are hunting them. I'm losing ambition quick. May invest in a foxpro and ditch the rabbit/deer/coyotes sounds all together.

In the age of foxpro you have to use handcalls. I'll still use the fp for some rodent and bird sounds now and then but I've gave up on the fp.
