First full moon is coming and the weather looks like cloudy skies around here. :( Kind of bummed but hopefully I can still get out for a few sets. I have a 20 gauge slug gun set up for night hunting that I hope to test out this year. Don't think it will be too fur friendly though lol.

I might try it. Looks like from around 8-10 will be least cloud cover.

Think I'm going to give it a try. The boy has a student council thing at five at school in echo so it looks like I'm trying some new grounds while he is there.

First stand I decided to try out my new decoy for the heck of it and remembered why I don't like decoys at night...owls. Just say that I'm glad I got the stake in the ground good. Second stand I got busted and then it decided to let all the other coyotes in the county know that I was there. Had to pick up the kid after the second stand so that's all I hunted.

I will hunt them at all times of the day. I just like night hunting more because I don't need to walk in as far as I would in the day.
