2017 open water fishing

Has anyone been out yet?
I noticed the Asians have been out over the warm weather over the weekend shore fishing. A definite family affair when 2 van loads show up in the same family. The little kids were really excited to wet their line. I was doing WDB refurbishing and buck thorn removal at a local lake when I encountered the above.
