In the northern part of the state didn't seem they were in the shallows really strong yet? We caught some very nice bluegills off the dock(10" 14oz), but it was not fast and furious as usual. Also caught a walleye in about 4' of water tossing spinner baits for northerns. Three of us caught 30 northerns in about 1.5 hrs...with a lot more follows. I don't get into open water fishing that seriously, but the big blue gills are fun and I love casting for northerns. Just curious what others are seeing.
