It's a good way for say a new guy to know if I should take someone's post as good advice or just garbage, not a bad idea

Then of course there would be the Reputation Points Building Thread.... where Hammer and I could post and like each other with giddy school girl "+" for things like: "As my grandmother said, blossom where you grow...."

The challenge with this is there no real accountability to either the "+" giver nor the poster, particularly since the barrier is so low.

To assist as dwendt suggested, there might be a feedback loop that forced the "+" or "-" giver to state why.

"Undies in a bunch" seems like it could pile the "-" on some and up the "+" rewards for general smart ass behavior, if that makes sense.

The more I think about it, it's just a plain stupid idea. It's and Internet forum and how do you know that the people giving the feedback can be trusted?
